Joshua Tree Experience

Joshua Tree Experience

Last week I went to Joshua Tree National Park and saw beautiful sights in the Mojave desert.  Which was a hour and 3o minute drive. The rocks are stacked in a way as if a child playing with her legos and the weather was a perfect 65 degrees.

My phone did not work and it was quiet and peaceful.  Being away into this magical place I realized that we are always in a hurry and we just do not know how to relax. We are now addicts to social media, cell phones, IPads, TV and other things. I want to be able to be a addict to the out doors and enjoy what is outside our backyards.

I have made it a goal to leave my phone in my car when I visit beautiful locations as a blogger. I get tempted to say I will just take some pictures… or I will just post it to my Instagram.  I really do not take in the beauty of nature.  I have cameras and I believe that I can do without my cell phone when I visit such magical locations.

Can you live without your phone for 2 hours.  I encourage you to turn off your phone and embrace the beauty of nature.

I am wearing the following:

Wow! It’s looks like a great retreat. I hope I can visit, if my schedule allows, the next time I’m in California. Well done!
