LAFW GALA 10/04/2017

Hello My Lillys!

I am excited to announce that I was able to attend the Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) again and with my photographer (husband).  The venue was at the heart of downtown in Los Angeles at the Alexandria Ballrooms, which was an exquisite location and the first reaction I had when I entered the doors  was as if I was attending a royal wedding with the beautiful lighting and the staircase adorned with white roses.
The Art Installations
Once you walked up the marble flight of stairs, there was a open bar (where I ordered a cranberry juice), two wall size paintings from Roll and Berry, a beautiful gold statue and huge golden sphere, and lastly a installation of five models paying tribute to the designers that showcased at LAFW.
Hands-on Booths
Mia Secret Nails were so generous that they gave me a little gift bag with mood changing nail polish, garlic growing nail polish and a top coat. Arthuro (Nail Technician for Mia Secret) filed, cleaned and painted my nails with a beautiful Black Titanium nail polish and Swarovski crystals.  Arthuro also helped with back stage by painting the models’ nails.
Kiss New York Professional was the Korean make-up brand that had set up like a department store for us to swatch, try on and even get a full face make over.  This cosmetic brand sponsored it services to glam up the models and give lippie goodies to the guests.
Lastly, Living Proof Inc. was such a fun booth where the hair stylist would curl, straighten or even volumize your hair with their products. They even provided a goodie bags for your hair.

After mingling and socializing with other fashionistas, we headed to the runway show for the one and only Noe Bernacelli from Peru. His collection are both for males and females.  His clothing screamed of a modern twist of the Renaissance.  With beautiful flowing gowns and men suits.  It was a great way to open the LAFW Gala.
